Claiming back prepay monies....

i called my energy suplier today and all i was told was just to keep an eye on the news because a decision has not been made yet whether we are entitled to refunds so people dont hold your breath could take years!:mad:

Get your claim in quick using the link given in post#8.

Put your case to the judge and you might win. Or the energy supplier may even decide to settle out of court to avoid losing a legal battle.

That's how many people got their bank charges back until too many applied and the banks applied for a stay on all claims pending a formal decision.

How strange, i can't even find my British Gas one at all now so i am beginning to wonder whether i did actually receive any or whether it was for the pre-payement electric meter

I know i definately receive statements/bill for the electric because i got one the other day. It lists all the money i have put on the key and when it was done.

maybe they are in preace of contract for not sending statements/bills too?
think i might give that site (#8) a go, worth a try. rather do it sooner than later.

by pressing the buttons on the unit itself you c an scroll through what has been put in , what is owed if any and what is charged at what rate. have a play with it, you cant mess it up there may be some intresting info on it
