When I forward emails on I have started to put all the email addresses in the BCC line so that when I forward emails noone can see the other email address I have sent it to.
I was just wondering how you get it not to say 'undisclosed recipients'? When my Mum reads her emails - when it doesnt get spammed - it says undisclosed recipients - however when I receive emails from my friends that do the same it doesnt say undisclosed recipients! It just doesnt say anything in a to, cc or bcc line. Is this because I am hotmail and my parents are on outlook express.
Regardless of the last paragraph how do I do the whole BCC thing but make sure the emails arent getting spammed? Ive tried sending myself emails but they dont seem to be appearing!

I think you need to put at least one name in the "to" field. This could be another mail address you set up yourself for this purpose.
I've tried sending with all in BCC and this is what is says in the failed mail delivery return "550-failing address in "To" header is: <Undisclosed-Recipient:;>
550 If you are using BCC make sure you have an address in the TO field.Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

Hiya - think have got is sorted - the email I sent from outlook express to hotmail never got there! But the one I sent from my hotmail to my hotmail did! And it didnt show undisclosed recipients! So I guess it has been solved in that outlook express throws up the undisclosed recipients and hotmail doesnt?!Weight Loss - 102lb0

If it bugs you then use your own email address in the To: field and keep using the BCC field.
I salute your attitude btw, there's nothing worse than a myopic session of reply-to-alls :eek:In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0
