Hi you Nice Techie minded Computer People who take time to help a total computer numbskull like me.
Why do I keep getting these messages up when trying to open some websites
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

Just some websites? i'd say the websites were down.
If it's a bit random, id say it's your connection... do you keep losing your connection?

All my antiviruses are up to date IE is version 8 i think

This seems familiar to me - I have IE8 and Vista on my home machine, and every once in a while, I get this message. Usually a refresh sorts it out. Still annoying though!My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
