I dont know if this is a good place to post this but I am looking to email a legal rep to ask some advice and if i am in a position to take legal action.

Might help if you gave just the smallest clue as to what sort of advice you were after.0 -
I suggest popping into your local CAB they tend to have a list of local solicitors who will give you the first half hour consultation for free.
