:bdaycake:Happy birthday Princess Piper!!!:bdaycake:
(Can't do fancy smilies on firefox...)
Woke up very early with a banging headache, which is still hanging around a bit, so think I will potter my way through the lists. It only takes me half an hourt to Level 3 the bathroom, so as soon as OH goes to work, I'll get it done, then I'll do the Friday list. I have shopping arriving between 10 and 11, usually nearer 10.
Then, I have to go prom dress shopping with DD. She ordered two online, and neither fit or are suitable, so we're off into town. I think there's a sale at Debenhams, just as well, as it's the end of the month, and I'm out of money!!
toochoosey - I think that DD may be whiney with you, because she is so safe and secure she can take the risk of not always being lovely - does that make sense? It's like children who are wonderful at school, and horrendous at home (like mine...) Or when they yell at you that they hate you - children who aren't secure won't do that. Not great for you of course, but maybe you could try being ever so upbeat and cheerful, or use distracting techniques - when she starts moaning, immediately point out something eyecatching or funny - next door's cat in the garden, or a funny cloud shape - anything really. It does feel forced at first, but funnily enough, even if you are faking cheerfulness and being upbeat, it does actually make you feel better. Perhaps because you are taking back the initiative and controlling how you feel about it. As for something to do during the day - yes, why not? Voluntary work, new career, old career, hobby, starting a business - what do you fancy??

Woohoo, it's sunny here and it's nearly the weekend!
Hope everyone is well - still can't get over how quickly this thread moves - about 10 pages since I posted yesterday!!
I did all of the things on the list yesterday except for decluttering 100 things - but I love the advice about counting hair and grains of rice! I suppose there must have been more than 100 newspapers in the recycling box (assuming they take it this time!), and then I did my bit by dropping two glasses on the floor (one while I was trying to catch the first one!)
So onto Friday:
