    Hi all,
Another sneaky post form work - at least I look busy when I'm typing! ;)
Had a good weekend - picked DDs prom dress up, she looks beautiful.
Had a lovely day out yesterday round some open gardens followed by home-made cake, yum! Then I picked some elderflowers to have a go at some champagne/cordial. I've never tried it before so I'll just have to see how it turns out. Picking them set my hay fever off something awful though!! And when I measured out the water I hadn't got a bowl big enough so they are soaking in my washing-up bowl
Hugs to fedupand skint hope you manage to clear the air with OH, and to pigpen I hope Hazel continues to get better.

    Heres my list:
Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Scrub down the front of units and large appliances and kickboards
    Level Two
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Clean out the gruesome fridge
    Wash windows
    Level Three
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Clean the oven and hob

    Make two quiches
    Make vets appt
    finish & bottle champagne/cordial

    Will catch up later,

I hate mondays cause my family make such a mess a weekends am I the only one that has so much to do on mondays? another point i wanted to ask is I know this might so abit silly and i imagine your mothers taugth u all to housework but my mother didn't and i really struggle with simple tasks because i don't know how any advice to help me leave so basics.
    thanks
another think i meant to ask do u lot use the thanks thing to show u have read that post?michelle
hi tinkerbellsmum - most of us use the thanks button to show we have read the post and to keep track of where we are up to on the thread - and because we all feel like a small community we use it as a sign of friendship. I know there are thouseand of people like you who have choas on a monday so dont feel you are alone! You should try to get them to help a bit more at the weekend so that mondays are not such a chore for you - I dont know how old your family is but even little ones can be taught to put their toys away, rubbish in the bin etc on a sunday - it all helps you. As for 'how to do housework' there really isnt a right and wrong way - you find a way that works and suits you - please dont be afraid to ask whatever it is that you are struggling with. If you get the chance to watch TV KIm and Aggie's programmes have some great tips.
pigpen what about one of the body pillows - I know its not the same as a human but it might work - glad to hear Hazel is improving - she must find it reallt strange with one eye poor wee bundle.
Solwaykid welcome (back) to the thread - glad to have you with us - a pm will be on its way to you shortly.
BlimusOreilly Hi there - I see you are already on the list so just dive in and get started - I am catching up with people after being in hospital so will send you a pm shortly!
    Morning Anw'sMum xx
sexymouse - well done you are my first star!!!
This morning's carer came at 8.30 so i am all showered and dressed, fed and watered, and medicated! phew I need a rest now!:rotfl:

have phone calls to make and will be trying to get a little bit done in the house as I dont know when I will be getting help - but dont worry I wont overdo it - I have learnt my lesson ....honest:rolleyes:

have a great day everyone - i will be popping in and out doing stars etc.

    toots xx

ETA Quillion ...how nice to see you - enjoy your week and take it easy when you go to the gym (((hugs))) xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
