    Best laid plans.......!!!

My friend joined me for pooch walking, which is great, much more fun with 2. She came back for coffee, so I did my kitchen dallies while waiting for the coffee to brew and chatting. :D Multi-tasking!

DD3 had an erm... busy time in bed last night, how can I put this delicately?? I think she'd dreamt she was using the loo....  It was a little alarming in there... *insert grim faced smilie*

So ever thankful for my large capacity WM I was able to do her :

    quilt cover
    pillowcase
    sheet
    mattress cover
    and
    plastic mattress protector.

All of which are now dry on the line and waiting to come back in! ahh the joys.

Then I went to help my friend with her kitchen, which wasn't that bed, it's just that she'd built herself up to it being insurmountable. (sp) Anyway, we cracked on with it, and after a while I left her to it.

Then I whizzed home, got changed and went out to my other friend's house for coffee.... and yes Toots more cheesecake... yummy!

I was a little late for school pick up, but got into lengthy dialogue with dd3's teacher. And then with some other mum's on the playground.... so consequently I'm exhausted, and my throat hurts from yapping too much, and I haven't got my list done!!!!! aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggg. And I'm back at work tomorrow. *sigh* This couple of days went very quickly. *sigh* Early night for me tonight then.

I'm doing pork chops for dinner, but not sure how I want to do them??

Didn't really get round to doing much last night, headache, I think because of the weather, waiting for a storm so just had tea and went to bed, didn't even do the dishes  so will now have 2 days worth after I have tea tonight :o

Did most of the bedroom at the weekend so will give it a quick go over when I get a minute.

I have finally found some stardrops :D I got the concentrated all round cleaner :) and some oven pride, hopefully it will do the trick for the oven and then will use someones suggestion of wiping it with white vinegar everytime I use it (I think it was either soappie or greenbea, I cant remember which, if it was someone else entirely I'm sorry, but thank you :)) So maybe by tomorrow my oven will be clean :D Does anyone else use oven pride? I was just wondering if there was a strong smell to it? still have the headache and it doesn't seem to like strong smells at the mo :o

Haven't really caught up on thread properly, there was about 6-7 pages that were unread when I came on today, but hugs to everyone, hope toots and LadyL are feeling awap (As Well As Possible for those who are unsure of abbreviations) today and Hazel is doing well.
Glad to see your OH has started to help SummerMoon, I had a similar prob with mine a few weeks ago, he was always saying how much he hated how untidy it was at his Mums when he was living there, but in our own house he cba to do anything to keep it that way, I ask for help I got the same response! We have his 2 boys every weekend and at first he did nothing, I cooked for them, I cleaned for them, I entertained them, the only thing he did do was put them to bed! (Bearing in mind these aren't actually my kids) It ended up in a few arguments and a meltdown and relapse on my part which eventually made him realise that I'm not superwoman and if he wanted the place to be clean and tidy he would need to help. Now he does help out, he spends time with his boys but also does the odd job around the house, cleans the bathroom, hoovers if he has a day off and I'm at work :) he gets a very big thank you when I get home :) It does work and hopefully he will continue to be helpful now :) If not, send me a pm and I'll come and kick his a*s! (Depending on how far away you are).

ETA I started to type this at lunchtime but work has been rather busy since then so apologies for not submitting this earlier :D

I've managed to do a bit of the bedroom. I've defrosted a freezer meal for dinner tonight, and hopefully DH will pick up the bits of shopping we need so I can do some cooking and restock the freezer a bit tomorrow!

I've stripped the bed and put the WM on, am very pleased as the wash basket is all but empty! And I've done my floordrobe and a few other bits, and researched about accounts for self-employed people on the HMRC website, which was very helpful

Right well think DP took the hint I was annoyed, came back to take the caravan in. He's also deposited his brother - who will hopefully be on a course soon - at home! I know DPs Mam is always on his back to get his brother a job and wish he'd just tell her to get stuffed. He's old enough to get off his own butt and get one. Anyway thanks for the hugs, I hate being all negative and moany on the thread but know you lot don't mind me 'airing a moan'.

I've eventually found mine and DPs out of date passports, have ordered new forms (filled some stuff in online) and have ordered a replacement birth cert for DS2 as his is still missing. Have been to see local dog walker, she's not cheap but she is so nice and so good with the dogs (good enough that many wander off to her house when they are at home!!! :rotfl: ) to look after him when we go. £17.50 a night but I think it'll be well worth the extra for the peace of mind, I don't like kennels and neither does the dog! We'll do some visits, see if he likes it there.

Erm, bedroom, I removed the floordrobe but that is as far as I got, so will do more tonight.
One day I might be more organised...........

in the HHC I got most of the kitchen done and started on the dining room, now nagging boys about the playroom.

Made the fatal mistake of sitting down to type and I now have a snoring kitten on my knee.

juliejim I am sure you will be fine at the hospital - if the finger blood tests are like the diabetes ones they are a doddle!

Yes Toots they are the same but I don't think DS will be impressed by it. Only every so often but then it's 5 times a day!

DS's friend is here for his tea and DD is round at his house playing with his sister.

I picked the kids up from school, went to the chemist but they don't stock DS's stuff for his emergency injection so I've got to go back tomorrow, came home swapped kids, made tea and caught up with the thread.
