Egg card. How long to make a decision?

I have recently applied for an Egg card online and was expecting a decision there and then. None was given, and i had to leave contact numbers, and e-mail address so they could contact me if needed. A week later and still no contact from egg. Is this the norm or should i ask them to chase my application up.
I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.

Give them a call. I recently applied for Egg Money and was told I'd have a decision in 72 hours. They never contacted me and so after a week I rang them up and they told me it was a decline (fair enough, had done a few stoozing apps recently). A month later I've had nothing "official" from them to say that so it looks like they can forget to tell you!

Funnily enough the same happened with me. Applied last wednesday and told that they would contact me within 72 hours. Today I messaged them and they said they could not help me at the moment. Crap service 8 days later and only find out when I chase it up.

Well I applied about a month ago and got an exceptance message straight away. Which I realise is different from the above circumstances.

That said it does take what i felt was along time for the card to come through. I contacted them after about two weeks to check that everything was okay. Didn't want the card to be lost in the post.

They assured me that the application was going through and it would be a further week or so.

Sure enough card arrived. So even under what appears to be normal acceptance it takes a good three weeks for the card to arrive.

I would always give companies a call if I haven't heard from them within 72 hours. It does work and sometimes there are just a few missing details and information that they won't be able to act immediately.
