compensation settlement paid into court

I have accepted an out of court settlement. The settlement has been paid into court..does anyone know how long it takes to receive the money if it has been paid into court ? thanks

Why dont u ring the court and ask them......
For everthing else there's mastercard.

they say several weeks, which seems like a long time if it is already paid into court0

It depends where it has been paid in - if it has been paid to Court Funds Office it can take up to 28 days to appear in your bank account. If the payment has been made directly into the court where the case was held it will be around 14 days to pay out.
If you had a solicitor acting for you they may receive the money to send onto you unless it was specifically ordered to pay direct to you and if a minor was involved it will be held until they are 18. x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

If the court has ordered the other side to pay you £x amount of money it is normally within 14 days.
