If you're earning that much a year just wait another year and buy a house outright. Then in the next couple of years again put another lump towards the next.
You would never need a mortgage if you had something you could be content with straightoff and then climbed the ladderMFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -

Any luck in getting the mortgage?
If you are a consistent winner, it is possible. You just get put in the bracket of professional sportsperson with the lender. Two online poker pro friends of mine got mortgages this way. Might be abit tougher now, that was pre slump. I'd just cash out regularly, say monthly. So looks like your accounts are properly managed.0 -
I've also had a few PMs asking about poker info and tips, other forums have 'Ask me about x' threads which are usually very informative, i could do a 'Ask me about being a professional poker player' thread somewhere on the forums if you guys are interested, which would be the best place?
Re mortgage: pay cash for something ... at least you know it's yours then.0
