Removing silicone

Hi I have old silicone around my bath and want to know the best way to remove it

    You can buy silicone remover from DIY stores

    Stanley knife blade to get the majority out then use some white spirit to get any extra

    white spirit won't remove silicone.... the reason being is that silicone is silicone base... use cellulose if anything. But maninthestreet is correct, you can get a silicone remover in any good diy store.

    PVCu (roofline stuff) sellers have a silicone remover for the trade use. (BnQ stuff rubbish.) Search for local Eurocell, GAPS or search roof line suppliers in.... maybe screwfix etc too.
