**URGENT** Reclaim from London Underground - Limited Time only
Hi MSE's,
Regards the most recent strike action by the RMT workers that affected the London Underground for two days last week I wrote a quick email to LU asking about refund for travel card holders for the days that transport was not available.
They replied the following:
It would be a nice idea to publicise that this refund is possible for travel card holders and it may serve as a message that commuters are not prepared to put up with such disruption to essential services. Tell all your friends, as many people as possible to get involved. It will take a few minutes of your time.
If enough people take action and claim a refund then perhaps it will make things change and this sort of disruption may be less in the future?
Cheers,
Damien

Thank you for contacting us regarding the recent strike.
As special rules apply in the event of industrial action, we will be taking applications for goodwill refunds as a result of the RMT's strike. The application form will be available on our website from Monday 15th June 2009 and is the only form which should be used - http://tfl.gov.uk
Please contact me again if you need any help in the future.
Yours sincerely,

A very useful post - but I really don't follow the logic of this bit - you mean TfL should be more willing to cave in to the RMT to avoid a strike?0
