Peugeot radio code

Hi, could anyone help. I need the code for my radio.I took the battery off, and have lost the code. Car is a peugeot 406, the radio is philips radio cassette.
The details on the radio are:
The engraved code on the side is PHAPCFV9073234
The other codes are:

Speak to your local Pug dealer.

They will give you the code.

They may charge you but, hey, you're an idiot for not having the code.

His description suggests it's an OE radio.

Peugeot should have the code. How much more helpful could I be?

Peugeot radios state quite clearly that they are code protected. If you disconnect them without knowing the code you are at least foolish.

you can go online and buy the code for under 5.00 but if you take the radio the whole radio out of it's setting it should be written on there hope this helps
