where to buy/how to make 3 tier plant stands?

any tips on making or buying outdoor plant stands?
have you made something like this yourself?

I'm thinking of acquiring several stands with various tiers. I have a very crowded patio garden and would like to go vertical in order to:

a. cram in more plants and produce
b. keep my dog from walking on the wall ( big drop behind)
c. create some wind shelter as it a wind tunnel.

I've seen 3 tiered plant display stands with trellis at the back in garden centres, used to display stuff for sale, rather than for sale themselves.

any tips appreciated

Buy three different sized cheap plastic pots and once filled with compost place one on top of the other. I have two towers like this for my strawberries. Works a treat.
