convertible help?

Hi

I finally decided on a new car - Mitsubishi Colt CZC2 convertible - and put a small deposit down yesterday. Today, the dealership phoned to say that there are none left in the colour I asked (silver) and will refund the deposit. Naturally, I am disappointed (& wished they had checked that before I left thinking that I had a new car at a decent price. Including scrappage allowance it was just over £9K).

Anyway, c'est la vie, but I would still like a convertible - any advice on any convertibles that I could consider??? Am back to square 1 again!

A Colt in another colour if the deal was that good.

That looks like a very nice car, I think you should be able to find another one somewhere. I think there's a website that finds the car you're looking for at the best price.

I just had the same problem with my new car. Ordered a toyota hilux in island blue only to be called up a few days later and told it wasn't available. Due to the credit crunch they are only taking a certain amount of models and when they are all gone then they order up a new batch so there was only black or silver left. They didn;t cancel th order though, just told me to pick a new colour.
