kleeneze problem rep.

Has anyone had difficulty returning an item to this company (kleeneze) via a rep. who just ignores your requests?

I purchased a carpet sweeper about 4 months ago and it does not work i.e. it does not pick up dust items from my carpets. I tried to speak to my rep. and he justs fobs me off saying it was a betterware product. I still have the box it came in and it says kleeneze on the side. I feel I am getting no where with the rep. and so I would like to know how I can contact the company to complain. What are my rights in this situation and should I involve trading standards?
I would appreciate any advice.

Well, if you'd have googled kleeneze you would have found their website, which has their contacts details:

    http://www.kleeneze.co.uk/contact-us/how-to-contact-us.html

Give them a call and explain what's happened, I'm sure they'll help out without the need to go to trading standards...

As a Kleeneze distributor myself I am sorry to hear that you have had a problem with one of our products and encountered an unhelpful distributor. I would refund you the money even if you bought it from another Kleeneze distributor or Betterware. I wouldn't be able to claim a credit from Kleeneze for doing this but I am building a business and need all the goodwill I can get. In doing so I would hope that you would buy from me in the future and tell your friends how helpful I was and perhaps recommend me to them. It is disappointing that one Kleeneze distributor can sour the reputation of what is a fantastic company with some great products and I am sure that you will tell all your friends how unhelpful this distributor was. So he has not done himself any favours. I would see if there is a different distributor in your area, who may be willing to refund you in the hope that you will order from him in future. If you are in the Milton Keynes area PM me your contact details and I will refund you the cost myself!

Another reason not to use Kleeneze, pain in the bum harassing you for there over priced garbage catalogue, never coming round to collect them on said day and now aren't interested in SOGA

Do contact them at head office. I needed to return something last year and discovered the rep was no longer working for them. I e-mailed them and they sent a prepaid label for the return. A refund came through shortly after I sent it back.

    Hi,

As a Kleeneze distributor myself, I can confirm that if you contact the Kleeneze service centre on the number that is on their website at www.kleeneze.co.uk they will be able to help you and they're open till 8pm most nights. The process will go much more smoothly if you have your original order form and your distributor's name/account number (these details are usually on the order forms).

You'll also be glad to know that our call centres are in the UK ;)

To be honest, I can't understand why this distributor is being so disagreeable towards you because he won't lose any money on the item as Kleeneze will refund him (before he's even returned the item!) and will collect it at no charge to him by courier.

It really does upset me that we lose our reputation due to the thoughtlessness of one or two individuals, so i'd advise you to please make a complaint against your distributor and if you're happy with the company but not your specific distributor then please ask Kleeneze to put you in touch with somebody else.

    Best of luck!

For goodness sake, there are unhelpful and rude people in all shops and businesses and on all forums it seems. It doesn't make the whole business bad. I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to return something to a certain shop only to be told by the same manager it wasn't their problem and it was the manufacturer at fault (against the SOGA). Other managers in that shop have been extremely helpful. I had to write a letter to the CEO of a certain furniture company on behalf of my sister a few years ago because the manager of the local branch exchanged her new sofa for a cheaper model and refused to give her a cash refund for the difference, they would only give her a credit, against the SOGA. Needless to say the manager of that store was instructed by the CEO to give my sister her cash.

I notice in your comment below that you have chosen to completely ignore my helpful and courteous reply to the OP. That says more about you than it does about any of the Kleeneze distributors that you are intent on putting out of business in your petty little vendetta.

Really I didnt realise I had to reply to every poster in each thread, are you feeling left out now?

My reply was to the OP not you, I will choose to reply to who I wish and when I want to without any prompting from you, thank you

I make no secret of the fact I despise kleeneze

I dont deny your 1st post was helpful, although you trying to sell "In doing so I would hope that you would buy from me".

Does the offer only apply if she lives in Milton Keyes "If you are in the Milton Keynes area PM me your contact details and I will refund you the cost myself!" no mention if it does if she/he lives else where

shame your have little regard for householders who dont wish to be harassed by you are the like even when they put notices up, have you got selective vision or is it more serious. Either way that to me speaks volumes as you dont respect peoples wishes, but rather show contempt for them.

Seriously Antispam, grow up and stop this childish Anti-Kleeneze war. There is no need to hijack the thread of somebody who wants some advice as a consumer because you feel the need to wage a vendetta against a particular company and especially there is no need to wage war against the self-employed distributors of a particular company.

We are self-employed, Kleeneze are just our suppliers.

If you had a problem with one of the major manufacturers like toshiba or panasonic does that mean you take a vendetta against every store selling those brands? Comet, Pcworld, Tesco, Asda, Currys, HMV, Argos, Amazon, Play.com... I'd think not. So stop picking on the little guys just because you think you can!!

Chill out, stop hijacking posts, and let us get on with our jobs. As you can see, both me and Dan (both distributors) are trying to help this person, who we do not know because, believe it or not, we are people too and we can be helpful and generous. We could ignore it and think... hmmm its not our problem, but we haven't and so we deserve more than your !!!!!y comments.

To the OP, i'm really sorry for ranting in your thread but it does upset me when me and my fellow distributors get slagged off even when we're trying to help just because our career choice doesn't satisfy the entire world.

Have you had any luck in resolving your issue yet?

Not a matter of feeling left out at all.

First of all, your entire attitude seems to be that you are p****ed off with your local Kleeneze distributors so you are going to go on to every thread where anyone asks for advice about Kleeneze and flame that thread with your own deeply biased opinions which are in no way helpful to the OP nor adds any valuable content to this forum.

Second, i did not address the issue of if the user does not live in Milton Keynes because other helpful people had already done that.

Third, I said that if I refunded the OPs money I would hope that they would buy from me in the future and recommend me to their friends. I did not say that it was a condition of me refunding the money. This is called PR and is practised by thousands of companies worldwide. Anyway if I hadn't said it I am sure that you or someone like you would have come and suggested that was the only reason I was doing it anyway.

There are many cowboy builders and con-merchants who cause real suffering and hardship to people of all ages yet you choose to get on your high horse because you are unhappy about a catalogue coming through your door. This causes no real hardship to you and can only possibly be classed as a minor inconvenience compared to the real harm done by the aforementioned rogue traders. You feel that because you are upset by this that it is your duty to try and convince the whole of the UK through this forum to stop using Kleeneze and even calling for it to be banned. Come on, if you want to fight against something that will make a real difference in OTHER people's lives fight against the rogue traders who rip people off for thousands of pounds every week of the year. But then it is clear to all from your postings regarding Kleeneze on this forum that you are not really interested in other people. You are just using this forum as a platform for your vendetta against one company looking for any excuse to flame any thread where people are seeking genuine advice. Totally ignoring any of the positive and helpful comments made by others.

I fail to see how anyone can get so upset about a catalogue coming through their door that they vent their anger at every opportunity. When people are looking for genuine advice all you reply with is stupid, vitriolic statements that are neither polite nor helpful and, as previously mentioned, add no valuable content to this forum.
