Under estimated EDF bill

I've just read my meters and realised that my EDF bills are out by 3000 odd units meaning we owe them a further £500ish.
This means we've used 6600 units over 11 months, living in a 2 bed flat. We're not in in the day, have no tumble dryer, no bath, no games consoles etc but do have storage heaters and no gas so hot water comes from electric.
So is this a normal amount? Just want to check before I ring up and tell them the actual readings, in case I have a leg to stand on for reducing it somehow!

Thanks

Tumble dryers can clock up a fair few units. As can TVs and games consoles if on for hours a day every day. But they're nothing compared to the energy used to run storage heaters and heat hot water every day. 6600kwh in almost a year sounds fine and a lot of it should be charged at the lower off-peak rate.

OK great, good to know. And yes, just under half of the 6600 is on the night time rate which is good.
Learnt a lesson in reading the meter regularly!
