Good evening: The flow rate will depend on the boiler i.e. storage combi (Vaillant 937 for example) will fill a bath faster than a 24 kw combi ...if the boiler has a good mains cold supply pressure/flow, the gas supply is properly sized and the pipework to the DHW drawoff point has been correctly specified then you'll get the best performance (superior in the summer when the incoming mains temperature is naturally higher).

Please note: a combi can't supply central heating and hot water at the same time...the DHW will take precedence via a diverter.

What combi do you have?

Mine has a flow rate of 18 litres per minute of hot water and that was the highest I could find when I purchased it.

Also do you run hot and cold to fill the bath or just hot with very minimal cold water.

Or perhaps I have a very large bath, Victorian Roll Top.

Or on second thoughts perhaps I am not getting 18 litres flow rate I will do a measurement tonight.
