Anyone heard of Going for Gold?

Had a phone call from this outfit offering to set up envelope distribution for "scrap gold" which they would value and pay our small charity? I was a bit busy at the time, took phone number etc. But it sounds a bit odd to me?

most of these seem to take up to 25% of the value for "handling"

better off taking it down the high street and selling direct
