Cheap 'expensive' brand food - Hills, Royal Canin, Applaws, etc

So I thought I should pass this tip on. It is often worth popping along to a cat or a dog show (entry is usually a few quid) as there are often big savings to be made on food.
For example, yesterday at the London Cat Show in Woking, Hills was there selling pouches for cats for 25p. They are approx 70p usually. I wasn't entirely paying attention but I believe they had the more specialist stuff, things like 2kg indoor cat for about a tenner (£18 at PAH)
One stand had Applaws dry, 2 x 2kg of kitten dry for £13.99
Royal Canin were there also but I didn't check out what they had.
This is only the 2nd show I have been to but the previous one had someone selling Oko litter for cheap. The gold was £4 a 10l bag and the discount got bigger the more you purchased. Also picked up a box of Natures Menu for £4 (think its £6 at PAH)
