Recommend me a good camera for a 10 yr old?

Want something that's good quality and will take good pics for a young user. Don't need a huge amount of features and functions, something fairly basic would do as long as the pic quality is good and the camera itself is reasonably robust.

Not looking for a 'kid's' camera as such, just something that could be used by a kid iyswim.

Any suggestions please? Maybe in the £40 - £75 ish range?

I would recommend a Nikon Coolpix 4100.

Takes great pictures and you should be able to pick one up off ebay relatively cheap.

I'd recommend a Canon Powershot A470 for £57 from Amazon.

It's not the prettiest camera in the world, but Canon don't make bad cameras, he'll get great quality photos, and it'll still be useable as he gets older and his skills improve.
