Hi All-
have been a regular visitor to U Switch for the last 5 or so years. The first time I visited I changed supplier and saved about £100 a year going to Powergen dual fuel online .
I moved in April 04 and transfered the account to my new address without a hitch. The debits went out of my accounts, the meter was read , all as normal.
The bills started to show and increasing debit balance over time so I increased my debit payment- the new house is bigger and prices rise don't they?
I would check U Switch every couple of months and it would always show my current deal to be one of the best at the time- all nice and easy I thought don't have to switch if I am on the best value already.
Last bill to come -today showed almost £200 debit balance-help!!
Call to supllier eventually shows my previous deal had not moved with me,they had started me a standard deal with no dual or online discounts! Managed to keep the direct debits going though!
Nice gent in Notts call centre has now sorted me out and it seems that they now owe me money!
Check those tarriffs people-especially if you have moved since your most recent deal.
