European @ on a keyboard

I seem to rcall a couple of years back when I was in Greece that they have a different way of using the @on a keyboard:confused: Can anyone enlighten me so if/when I go on holiday I can at least check my email... Thanks in advance ;)

    I usually have to press Ctrl + Alt + 2.

    As far as I was aware, if we use key 4 on the above keyboard as an example:

    Shift and 4 would get you $
    Ctrl and Alt and 4 would give you £

    The @ is in the same place on the American keyboard. For that it is Shift+2.
    Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!

    If you get really stuck you can copy from the character map under tools accessories...system tools
