Holiday destination ideas anyone - 2 adults, one 5 year old??!!

I'm looking for some inspiration re where to go on holiday. Once we've got a destination I'll get Travelman on the case :j
We're able to go in June for up to 2 weeks and have a budget of around £1000.
There will be 2 adults and our little girl who will be 5. OH's a culture vulture and complete foodie, he really wants to be able to do a little bit of cooking himself with local produce, but he's not adverse to staying in an aparthotel and having some meals there...... Our little girl will need things to keep her busy - kids clubs, nice safe beaches, water parks/zoo's..... and as long as the other two are safe and happy (and i get a tan) I'll be grand.
We're quite open minded as to where we end up, any suggestions please :j
