new to all this

Hi, I am not sure whether I if my bank would be considered unfair. I have recently received bank charges of £35 for being short of direct debit and cheques of silly figures like 26p or 80p for example. One direct debit was short of 4p. Its never a lot and sometimes its the day before a regular credit goes in. It is embarassing and costing me a fortune in charges, I have received 6 in one month. It is mainly because the cheques have gone out later than expected or the direct debit has been a day early, or due to the bank charges! If it is considered fair then okay I will just have to be more careful but I have been trying to make sure I have enough.

I would start the process of reclaiming your bank charges.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
