Halifax easycash account

Hiya guys My credit is pretty bad and the only account I could get was an easycash account, which I've now had for about 6 months. I was just wondering if, aftter a while, I manage to maintain my account and show good activity, I may be offered or be able to apply for a current account. What do you guys think?

Yes.
It builds up an internal score that may allow you to move to the full facilities account in the future.
That said, it doesn't change the facts on your credit file.
If you manage your account well and possibly build up some sort of worthwhile savings balance they will look on you more positively.
At the same time you need to ensure there are no further blemishes on the credit file and you clear up any other problems.
