Are you absolutely certain the drives don't come with SATA cables? Or the mobo doesn't come with any?

I reckon you might end up with a couple of em going spare!

Oh and I can't see a heatsink and fan for the CPU there - they might come with brand new intel processors though, sure someone else can tell you for certain.

I think most/all motherboard come with SATA cables, but only about 30cm long.

30cm is a problem for me, when I have a full tower case. ;):D

    Swap the wireless-G for wireless-N and you're done. :)
  • I haven't been able to find out whether there's a CPU cooler included with the (retail boxed) processor... anyone have any ideas? Not sure Wireless-N is worth it, given that we've got a Wireless-G router, but thanks for the tip :)

  • Missed the deadline for their working day anyway now :( Probably just as well tough... 'cos I STILL haven't been able to find out if there's a processor cooler included! :(

If it's retail then there will be, although it won't be amazingly good at cooling and will probably be a bit noisy.

Retail boxed, means it comes with a CPU cooler - in fact I have that exact processor, and I bought the retail boxed one too, and it most certainly did arrive with it's own cooler.

BTW, I managed to get my E8400 to run at just 5MHz short of 4GHz - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=20999871&postcount=55
