now do they contact the company tell them what they have received to pay whats due to them or leave it and the company will get in touch??

    Hi there

    Great news on an offer.:T:beer:

Every claims company I believe have their own terms and conditions, if your parents have these, ask them to check them through.
Have they paid anything to the claims company if you don't mind me asking?
I'm asking in case its refundable.
    Cheers X

Maybe the reclaim company has already had their bit from this as sometimes they get people to sign the forms that they receive the monies, take their bit and then pay the rest over to the client. I would check this first as you would not want to pay them twice. Come to think of it, you would not want to pay them once really.

they def didnt pay anything up front to them just double checked with them, the letter from lloyds stated £2008 and thats the cheque they received.

im sure this cowboy company will be in touch for their share, ive warned the flks, if i find out they ever use a company like this again i'll get them locked up!!

    Hi there

Glad they never paid anything up front.;)

So did they sign any agreements with them?

If this company had a part of this, I would have assumed the letter would have been sent to them also, then sent to your parents, but I am not sure on how they work to be honest.

May I ask if your parents also tried to reclaim from Lloyds before getting the claims company involved?, it could be that lloyds resolved this without the company intervening if this is the case - then they should not receive a penny, but if it was because the claims company dealt with it, then be prepared to hear from them..

I am wondering though if the claims company have already had their share of it and the remaining was that - that your parents received.
Did they receive any sort of breakdown calculations with the payment?

    Sorry for all the questions.......:o
