There should be Flylady for parenting!

Being the most chaotic, disorganised, lazy mother in the world, I think there should be Flylady for parenting. I'm sure there are loads of you gasping out there at the thought of it, but I really struggle to manage the household and kids. If my kids are fed (and OH, if he's lucky), have clean clothes to wear and are at school on time, I feel like I've achieved something. But I don't know how some mums manage to bake stuff for lunchboxes, organise playdates, and then take their little ones to afterschool activities.

I need a babystep programme for mothering, am I the only one?

I think there is something like that on the flylady website. It has a bit for kids to tidy their rooms :confused:I didn't sign up for the emails I just check in once a week and read Kelly's list of 5 things to do for 15minutes.The best one yet was tidy out my jewellery box hehe that took a lot longer than 15 mins but loads of junk when on freecycle.

Don't think so for a minute ;) I think you'll be better off over on the Families Board, though, so I'll move this there for you.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
