Samsung On '3' Network - Help

Hello.

I have a Samsung 3G phone on the '3' network.
http://www.three.co.uk/Home

I have a 18 month contract, it started in November 2008.

I want to sell my phone to get some money as I desperately need it - and obviously keep my Simcard - Also I will need to get a new 3G compatiable phone to put my sim card in right? As 3G sims don't work elsewhere?

Anyone know of the cheapest 3G compatible phone I can get that accepts Sim-Card on the '3' network? Any phone will do, seriously.

Thanks in advance!

If your desperate for money cancel your contract

Cheapest new is circa £50, on ebay well I wouldn't chance it, 3 can block any handset that the IMEI is not on their database, 2G or 3G if its not a supplied 3UK phone the imei number not in 3's database shows you are not using a 3UK approved handset.

If they cut you off for such you get a final bill for the remaining period of your contract in one big bill and *may* lose your number.

Ok thanks - That thread is 26 pages I haven't got time to read all.

But if I rang up '3' today and I asked them to cancel my contract what do I say exactly?

And how much would I have to pay?

Will they accept this as a legitimate reason though?

Could end up looking like a right idiot.

Yes they will take it but you need to be insistant and not get off the phone untill they do. The only reason I can think of them saying no know is if they informed you by text or email more than 30 days ago.

I would recommend reading though the thread though as you will see the come backs that you will get.
