I've just been looking through the old topics on the Redundancy forum and I can see no-one has replied to your question.
When an insurance company rejects a claim, they have to provide you with a reason, preferably in writing. Have you asked them to do that?0 -
AXA are only Insurance Company who have as yet not paid me out on being made Redundant on 31st January with Lifestyle Protection Insurance - two other Insurance Companies have paid me, and I started back to work in June all notified to AXA. Almost 6 months later and just one letter from them, and I would not have got that if I had not wrote to them!!! Terrible Service ! Interesting note how long your refusal took! How much time information do these people want ! Would never ever use them again for any Insurance wotsoever..0

I would write to them and say that you'll be reporting them to the Insurance/Financial Ombudsman (whichever is applicable) to investigate if they don't get back to you with 14 days with valid reasons as to why your claim has been denied - hope you get it sorted.0
