Bathroom Silicon Sealant

Options
There has been a bathroom Sealant advertised on tv that says you can shower in 2hours after application.

I googled and found - polyseamseal speed seal.

Has anyone found any similar products or even know where to get this. B&Q and homebase dont have it.

I got some stuff here when we moved in...consistency was very runny, but it had set in about an hour - I was very surprised.

It's B&Qs "Silbond general purpose Silicone". Doesn't SAY "rapid drying", but for me it has been..

Dow corning is the best silicone out there
Anything with the Unibond name is rubbish

Silicone is a natural product and should be left to dry correctly Dow corning takes approx 18hrs to cure before a shower can be used

try to get one that specifically says it doesnt shrink , you may pay a bit more for it but you are less likely to have problems in the future.
