There has been a bathroom Sealant advertised on tv that says you can shower in 2hours after application.
I googled and found - polyseamseal speed seal.
Has anyone found any similar products or even know where to get this. B&Q and homebase dont have it.

We got some at a large B&Q - not sure if it was that brand though! Definately said you could shower in 2 hoursI refuse to enter a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent:rolleyes:0

I got some stuff here when we moved in...consistency was very runny, but it had set in about an hour - I was very surprised.
It's B&Qs "Silbond general purpose Silicone". Doesn't SAY "rapid drying", but for me it has been..0 -
Dow corning is the best silicone out there
Anything with the Unibond name is rubbish
Silicone is a natural product and should be left to dry correctly Dow corning takes approx 18hrs to cure before a shower can be usedHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
try to get one that specifically says it doesnt shrink , you may pay a bit more for it but you are less likely to have problems in the future. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
