Hi,
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, My wife and I will be travelling around the world for a year with our children commencing in November.
We have a £25K lump sum to fund this trip, obviously (as a trained MSE user) we will be using the Nationwide flexaccount for withdrawing our day to day expenses charge free around the world, but I would like to gain max interest on the sum before and as we are spending it all!!
Is there a way to invest our lump sum and set it up to pay monthly/weekly into our flexaccount? the ability to get a bit more on demand would be good for those special excursions and suchlike.
I suppose online banking is an option, but would be a little dudious of internet security cambodia or Laos for example. I was thinking an ISA each and savings account. Don't really want anything hugely complicated manage, if I could set all up before we leave that would be ideal.
Any tips or ideas would be great.
Thanks in advance.
