MBNA Details

I just received a letter from MBNA saying that since my credit card account was closed over 6 yrs ago that they are only obliged to retain information on customers for six years and therefore they cannot send out my SAR request. Is this true?

    Afraid so. Whats more MBNA are pretty hot on destroying material right on the 6 year deadline.
    No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

    They haven't AFAIK.
