JSA Contribution Based vs Income Based

I have been told my jobseekers allowance will not be paid from now on because I have run out of class 1 national insurance contributions. I was made redundant Nov 08.
I have worked as a temp (mostly full time) since October 2005 and only had about 5 weeks out of work since then, before temping I worked for the council for 4 years straight f/t. I have checked my NI have been paid on my temping payslips.
I want to know if I can now receive income based JSA? Or will I just get nothing now? I have no rent or mortgage to pay but I need something coming in.

Whether we win or lose,
that we played at all was a winning decision.
2011 wins £12,292
2012 wins ...

It would depend upon your total household income. IF you live with a partner, they will take your partner's income into account in the assessment. If you have savings over £16000.00 you will not be entitled. Savings under £16000.00 but above £6000.00 will affect any amount you get. If you have savings below £6000.00 they are disregarded.
If you begin to receive income from a part time job, it may reduce the amount of entitlement.0 -
Me again...soz but...
With NI contributions I was getting around £60 per week. What can I expect if I am accepted for income based? like £40?Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.

As stated before, it will depend on what other income you have! If you have no other household income, you will get the same amount as before.Gone ... or have I?0
