Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Poo, £16.21 :( Got some change leftover so thrown that in my jar to pay for yoga next week.

Went to see Mr Delivery on Monday on his lunch break...we just kissed and cuddled and grinned at eachother for an hour! I'm so smitten :) Going down on the train to see him on Saturday (he rang me to say that he woke up on Tuesday morning really excited cos he thought it was Saturday!). I think I've gone over this month's wages, so next month's budget will have to be trimmed accordingly, but I think it's worth it :) If it goes well on Saturday and when he comes to see me for the weekend then I'll get a young person's railcard and we'll be all set :)

Have a good week everyone :)

    hi all!

must be something in the water as my budget is dwindling this week mainly due to food! today because the weather was pants ended up at botany bay shopping thing! didnt buy anything until my mum and i spotted the sweet shop!!! it was like being transported back in time! anyway bought my mum and me some sweets costing somethin like £5.21 i think. so loose change has gone in piggy bank and £2.50 towards paying the window cleaner (now i know i could prob do it myself but i have done it once in the 2 years i have lived in my new home and they looked worse after i had attempted them!!) so my new total is £2.60. loks like a few nsd are on their way :j

anyway hope everyone is ok and coleen it is nice to see someone so happy :T

    Evening all,

Dinner is in the oven and I'm off to the cinema this evening but hopefully no spends there as I have a cinema-card:D

For yesterday I got persuaded to buy a bottle of wine (£4) as it was half price. Also £1 on chocolate:o. Then today £2.70 on bus fare as it was raining. Total £7.70 .

London Welshcake good luck with the CV they can be a pain to do but always worth putting in the extra effort to get your dream job or at least a bit more money.

Colleen well done on the romance, it is nice to hear about happy loved up people I think the world can seem all doom and gloom sometimes.

  • I can't cope with all the food talk!!! I'm trying to gain £'s and drop (lots and lots) of lbs, and here I am wanting toasted teacakes and ice cream. Must resist, must resist................

Today was a £4.59 spend, planning a nice nsd for tomorrow now.
    Current debt (June 2016): £7699.81
    Starting debt (January 2016): £8374.81

    Percentage paid to date: 8%

DFD at current rate: July 2021
  • Update!

CV done ready for one final read in the morning before I hit send.

Have just finished making my sarnies for tmw... now it's bed for me!

Very glad I signed up for this challenge as half way through the working week and I'm still £15/£2.50...

Knowing that I'll be posting my spends on here has meant that I:
    • resisted buying a coffee on the way into work yesterday
    • have resisted buying a girly mag and taken a book with me for the commute instead

    Keep it up people!

Well done London Welshcake sounds like you have really got the money saving bug. Keep up the good work:j

I have just returned from the cinema without spending a penny woohoo. I saw Looking for Eric which was much better and funnier than I thought it would be so highly recommended.

hi all well i gave into temptation today after not eating pastry / crisps and chocolate for four weeks , ended up two cheese pasties. My god they were lush i never thought a cheese pasty could taste so much. I got so stressed at OH that i needed comfort food.

So out of my £10 budget i have so far spent £1.52 courtesy of thomas baker.
So still have enough money to buy wine for friday!
