    Hi everyone

Hope you've all had a good weekend. Can't believe it's over already. I've been poorly all weekend so haven't been about much, sorry. didn't get out on my 10k race today either :( Just sitting in garden now under the gazebo, just had bbq that DH made for tea, and now playing online bingo. Oh my life is so sad :D

    how was coffee Snags :D

It turned into an afternoon in a pub beer garden, and then I went back to his house for coffee (and yes, JUST coffee lol.....well, in fact, I had water, he had coffee).

I don't know what made me go really, I certainly didn't want to, in fact I was crying in the car on the way, and I hadn't made an effort at all, normal clothing, tiniest bit of make-up, minimal hair-straightening....but we got on so well!

I can't honestly say there were fireworks, but I liked him a lot. He really shyly asked if I'd like to meet up again, and I said yes, but typically, he's away now for 2 weekends, and I have the kids the weekend after that so...

Guess I'll see him sometime around Christmas! :rotfl:

  • buffy - doesn't sound like normal period pains, but as you've come on a week early i suspect as Wol said it's maybe stress and period combined to the mother of all period pains... keep an eye on yourself, and maybe let GP know.... not being funny but how would it go down with work if you were to get some time off on the sick? Would affect any of the ongoing stuff... maybe just have a few weeks off to see you up to the holidays, take the stress out of the equation? And you're welcome re the pep tea... it was no use to me!

It would affect everything, and mean I stay under obs for ages. when my migraines were very bad, the doc said I should take a week off and it just isn't possible.

I trying to work out a plan so I don't have to bring any work with me next week.....hmmm.

    xxxx
