OS Daily Saturday 13th June 09

up early with DS again:rolleyes: feel like it is lunchtime now have been up so long:rotfl:
am taking him out today to the museum he loves, I dont really feel up to it but he needs to get out of the house as he will just skip up and down flapping his hands and shouting numbers out, getting progressively louder:rolleyes:I cant bear that the way my head is at the moment.
Head still pounding and still feels numb and prickly on the left side of my face, am signed off work again next week and back at drs Mon morning and see what neurologist has to say. It does worry me and am hoping there isnt anything awful going on:o. OH very worried and stayed off work last couple of days with me he is more anxious than me.
Will be making tea later but not sure what....maybe sausage pasta to use up some of the sausages in freezer( i have a few frozen in 3`s from trying different ones with DS to find some he liked)
We have a film to watch fromLovefilm later.....Milk. will watch it when DS goes to bed.

forgot to say...we have 2 primary schools in our small town....one of them is shut all next week due to some pupils having swine flu!...its getting to closer to everyone it seems

Morning all
Congrats to PP, Happy B'day to Juli & big hugs to Beth.
We've been up since 6, waiting for BIL, who obviously can't be bothered to get out of bed, Grrrr.
Still, toilets have been cleaned, beds stripped, DW & WM both now on for the 2nd time, looks like the washing will dry on the line today.
I'm meeting up with DD's later for another brainstorming session & I shall give them both some salad & strawberries from the garden.
Getting really fed up with work, so much backbiting going on, I know we work in a school, but surely we could leave the childish behaviour to the kids.

Good morning all. It's a lovely sunny day here so 3 loads of washing are out (what do they do with their clothes :eek:) and I'll be doing some garden tidying later I think. DH is out all day as its the Lions carnival so it'll be a good day. DD & DS1 have been persuaded to dress up in a lion costume for the day I don't envy them in this heat. DS2 is going out for the day with his friends family so it's just DS3 and I.

Dinner is soup (fridge use up :money:) with an apple pie & ice cream for pud. I shall make the pie shortly.

Halight You'll need eyes in the back of your heads now that the twins are both mobile!

Nic1lou2 I've been to a couple of the concerts you're talking about they are fab. Good luck finding a caravan it's a great thing. My parents got their first touring van 14 years ago and have had some brilliant holidays all over the world. They took it to Poland for 8 weeks a couple of years ago :T

Good start to the day so far - DW on, WM on, have done meal plan for next week & won't need too much from the shops, and the weather is starting to brighten up.
Got to go pressie shopping later for the twins' birthdays (my nephew & neice,5). Neice has just had her plaster off (broke her leg from an awkward landing on the trampoline) but still has to use her frame for a while.

OH is still in bed as he didn't finish work until 2am so I'll take a walk down town in a minute and pick up a few bits, want to get some garlic to try Curry Queen's sauce recipe.

Morning all,

One load on the line one in wm, and another to go in, I always have such a lot on a saturday, what with dd's uniform, and OH work clothes.

Oh has gone to the car boot sale, and dd is getting ready to meet her young man in town :smileyhea:rolleyes:.

The sky is looking very black over yonder, I hope it does not rain, I think we are off walking today, little dog needs a good run, will make up sandwiches and a flask.

Not sure what is for tea, will go and look at meal plan in a while.

Noahs mum, take care of yourself hun, must be hard for you, when your young man is so energetic, is there someone who could have him for a few hours ? xx

Morning Guys!

Had quite a good night, so feel a little more with it today. Nurse came at 7.30 this morning and I was still asleep which is a miracle for me, but I had been up 3 times through the night, still it was good for me:D

WM has been on with uniform and some other bits and OH hung out on the line. Keeps coming over cloudy, then bright sunshine. DW has been on and emptied. Beds made and toilet cleaned:p

OH has taken DD out to get some stuff for school she needs for next week and before he went he cut up some peppers (red and yellow), onions, carrots and garlic as I wanted to do some roasted veg for the couscous later and I cant use a knife. I have put them in an oven dish with chilli oil, honey and a little sugar. I also added a few button mushrooms that needed using and have put the last 8 cherry toms into a seperate bowl with chilli oil, balsamic and herbs for OH.

DD & OH going to a local dog show this afternoon for an hour. I have a friend popping in for a cuppa, so will be nice to catch up.

We were supposed to be visiting family today but we cancelled and will do another time. Going to do a BBQ later if weather stays nice. May boil a couple of eggs and do a small buffet with it

Last night OH cooked us steak with jersey royals & salad for dinner and it was delish. You should have seen DD's face when she realised she wasnt getting chips or garlic bread with it....priceless!

Anyway, I am waffling. Hope everyone is ok.

Hope you're all having a good weekend? I'm doing some studying and then we've got friends over this evening.

Blitzed the kitchen earlier on while DH did the ironing - Teamwork!
