Urgent!! refunded £900 by mistake

Hello there:

please, Please help with this

I am selling on and off ebay.

recently partially refunded a few buyers for late delivery compensation.

I made a HUGE mistake by refunding one of the buyer the Whole amount of £900 instead of £20.

he is my regular, a wholeseller in France, we deal off ebay to save the fees.
he send me payment via paypal, I send my goods to him by TNT yesterday. so won't be with him until next Monday or tuesday.

I have just email him to resend me the payment.

what should I do now to protect myself. I do trust the buyer, we dealed 5 times no problem , about £450 on average, this time is twice as much as that,
should I ask the TNT to return the shipping back to me ? Just bought a car today , really can not afford to risk losing £900.

any suggestion would be really appriciated.!!!!!

  • stop the shipment to buyer repays you because if you leave it to late there will be nothing you can do unless buyer will deffo pay you again

if the buyer trusts you enough to buy off ebay, then it's extremely likely that he is similarly trustworthy.

Have you had any corespondence from him yet regarding re-payment?

The items will not be delivered to him over the weekend so that will give you time to sort this out before they do get delivered.

If he is loyal purchaser off evilbay then it's quite likely that he won't jeopordize his supplier. Tbh, I wouldn't be worried, it not like he is British. Then I'd be worried ;-)
