Ebay: Can a seller remove a bad bid?

I have listed an item on Ebay (nothing special, just a book) and it has been bid on by a user with one negative feedback last December (no positive). I really don't want to take a chance on someone with one feedback and negative at that! Especially as they have bid way more than the item is worth, in my opinion.

So can I cancel their bid? I have looked on Ebay and can't find any information or links to do this.

Yes you can pull the bid. Go into the auction and where it shows the number of bids click on there. That takes you to a screen that details the bids and from there you can delete any you don't want. Block the buyer at the same time as well, just in case.

Also, to prevent further similar occurances on later listings, go to Seller preferences in My Ebay and find the bit where you can prevent bidders with a feedback of 0 or less, -1 or less etc. This stops some of Ebays lesser mortals from bidding.

I with Chivvy on this and do this in the beginning and you won't get this problem.
