On the 8th of june telephoned jet2 for a price on a holiday was quoted £1225 as they were about to close i said i would call back the next day, when i called the next day i was told the holiday had gone up in price as seats were selling on the flight and the price was now £1450 and they would continue to rise so i booked the holiday, now today i look at the jet2 website and the price is back down to £1225!So when i ring up to complain and ask whats going on they tell me holidays go up and down and its my own fault and they dont want to know, they have told me to put the complaint in writing but they will not do anything, but i do think that jet 2 have mislead me and i have asked for at least half the difference back but i dont hold out much hope, but one things for sure i wont touch this lot again with a bargepole.

They are correct
Flight prices are related to demand and timing and often go down again after rising.
I don't see exactly what you have to complain about0 -
Agree, a shop/website can change it's prices every 5 mins if they are so inclined, as long as it is clear at the time of purchase the price you will be paying. Unfortunate yes, against any laws, no.Little lady arrived 13/12/110

It's called supply and demand.
As demand starts to go up, so does the price.0
