More Than Car Insurance

Options
Evening all

Am about to renew my car insurance, and with the £75 Quidco cashback, the above company's quote seems pretty good.

I have been reading though the various policy summaries etc etc before buying, and it mentions that to cover theft, I must have an 'approved' immobiliser fitted.

I only have a bashed up Ford Focus worth about £1500 - is this now standard with all car insurance companies?? BTW the immobiliser stipulation was not mentioned at any point when filling in the various forms online - just the usual 'where is it kept overnight/mileage' etc etc

Someone else posted on MSE with a similar problem with More Than recently, I assume they are putting on a security discount / warranty to get their prices up high on the comparison sites.

It might be worth ringing them to check, if they say you do not need it please check your policy when it comes through and pay particular attention to any "Endorsements" on the policy schedule to make sure they have slipped it in.
