They are part of the TSB Banking Group.
The online interface sounds as you can transfer money to any account, not just a nominated account:View your balance, move money and pay bills...
I presume online banking is going to be much like Bank of Scotland/Halifax. That would mean rather erratic Faster Payments capabilities, currently at a maximum of £1K per destination per day - when it works.Dagobert0 -

Its annoying that it cant all be done online. After you have registered they send you a massive information pack and a form to sign and return.
If I log in using the details I provided at the intial application it just takes me to a product opening screen rather than a holding page or similar.
Once the paperwork has been processed it should operate as normal with any luck.0 -

This has perked up my interest in my near dormant IF accounts. I did try to apply online but there was so little feedback when clicking on the confirm options that I caused an error by submitting the same information twice. I also await something in the post that I have to sign despite having a current account and savings account.
If you are not an internet explorer user then you are on your own when it comes to getting any help with using their internet site. The slightest mistake can lock you out and you have to literally call on the extremely helpful staff that IF. employ.
