Life insurance or funeral plan?

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section! What I would like to know is whether it is better to purchase a funeral plan for my mother or to try and get life insurance for her. My mother is presently in a nursing home as she has dementia, but is in good health apart from that. She has some life insurance but not…

If on benefits, funeral plan. It is not counted as assets whereas a cashable life policy is.

A fool may give advice but the one who takes it is the bigger fool.
