Hello,

Just after some advice. I have had many bank loans with my bank, Halifax, and every one of them had PP1. The loans have all be settled. I have no paperwork form them nore to i have the account numbers. I no for sure that the loans i took out were misssold to me as i remembered that it was compulsery that i had PP1 on the loan.

What do i need to do to get the paperwork? do i go to my bank and request all the information they hold on my loans??

Thanks,

Suzy

    Hi Suzy and welcome.;)

If you just require the copy of the agreement (CCA) you just write to them and request for a copy, they normally cost £1 for each one, payable by either cheque or postal order payment.
They should supply these by post by 12 days of you requesting them and make sure you post by recorded delivery.

When you request them to make it earlier for them to track them down and if you no longer have the account number, write down as much information as you can, such as the address if different then, surnames, and also write in your Date of birth.

Another way is for even more information is to request for a Subject Access request (SAR).
You will find the template on the link below, but there is a charge of £10 cheque or postal order payment for this request and they have 40 days to comply, again post by recorded delivery and enclose your personal details like what I stated above.
If you had say 4 loans with the same bank, the SAR information should cover for all the information you require.

Good luck and post up when your ready to reclaim as there are also templates to help you through this as well.;)

    Hi hun

£10 postal order or cheque payment will cover the whole lot on the request for halifax, do not send anymore than £10.;)
