Buildings Insurance on unoccupied property?

If it is a holiday home try googling that "holiday home insurance". Cover will often be restricted due to the long periods of unoccupancy though.0

Someone phoned in to Moneybox live this week about a similar situation. One of the panel recommended this lot:

Have a word with the company that covers you main home as they will often look sympathetically on a second home / holiday home.
Otherwise try a local broker or Camberfords although they can be expensive0 -
