Hunter Wellie Boots

My husband has just ruined my christmas pressie :'(
He ordered me a pair of red Hunter wellington boots at the beginning of December - over £50 spent.
Rang today to say Oi, where are my wellies to be told they are out of stock, this is the 20th of december, they have had 2 weeks to contact us. I now know what my present was going to be, and I also know I am not getting them as they have to be ordered online as there is nowhere local that supplies them.
Does anyone know if I have any rights for complaint for having christmas ruined by a company that charges £50 for their wellies >:( >:(

i'd write and complain. that is very poor service. write to head office, and see what they say.
  • Thought I had better up date this as I recieved some great news, after a few e-mails to the company, directly delaing with the head of customer service, who was also appalled by the way I had been treated, a FREE pair of red wellies are winging their way to me as I speak. Excellent conclusion, although I would rather have had them for christmas. Top marks to Hunter for follow up customer service when it all goes wrong

    That's a good result!

But what makes the wellies special enough to pay £50 for? (sorry, I don't know but I'd like to)

They are indestructable and designed to support your feet etc so that they work like a good walking boot. The fact that they are red is because they are a limited edition and support lung disease, different colours, different charities.
