Hi,

I am in the process of trying to find some sponsorship for myself and also the Ice Hockey team that I play for. We are based in the North East of England I was just wondering if anyone would know of any companies would would be looking to sponsor a team or an individual.

The sponsorship would not be vast amounts of money but anything would help both me and my club.

Any help on people or companies I could contact would be greatly recieved!

Start by asking all the players if they or any of their parents / friends / relatives work for companies who might be interested in sponsoring you or advertising in newsletters / programmes etc. But you need to give some thought to what's in it for the companies so that you can 'sell' it to them.

fengirl will come along and confirm, but I think Awards for All would be worth a google for small grants.
