Who Can I approach for Help?

My future daughter in law is recovering from leukaemia, just approaching one year since her bone marrow transplant. She hasn't worked since diagnosis, has no savings and some debt. She lives with her parents. She would love to move in with my son, who lives on the south coast, and get financial help with some sort of university course to enable her to resume a carreer.

Apart from directing them to this web site http://www.entitledto.co.uk/ to check that she is claiming all her benefits I am at a loss who she could ask for help

Any advice appreciated.......

There is a book called Grants for Individuals in Need which your library's reference department should have. You can search in there for grantmaking trusts which would fit her circumstances.

    Many thanks!

I assume that is in the area she intends to reside in?

You have to subscribe to the website. The book should be in all libraries.
