when i try to open my yahoo email i keep getting another screen with a popup for some casino site-can't get rid of it -the info says it is

what is this and how do i get rid of it-i need to check a v important email and i can't see it thank you :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Have a look at 'stickies ' at top.

What happened to the malwarebytes scan?

Ran that first but it came up with nothing-only did the quick scan do i need to do a different one-(even this took 15 minutes)???

Well clearly your machines infected as your being re-directed to the casino site
I cant see anything in the hijack log so whatever it is its fairly deep
Your call but a FULL malwarebytes scan is the least id recommend

Or you can run COMBOFIX for a far quicker scan (I dont usually recommend it at first, but as youve already runa quick malwarebytes one it should be fine to run)
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be)

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download

Ran a full MAL scan as you suggested-on all drives (took hours!!!!!!!) and it came up with zilch. However the pop up isn't happening anymore-good news or bad? I deleted all my history-would that have helped?? very thankful for the help :beer:
